Spey casting, a fly fishing technique that has evolved out of Scotland during the 1800’s, is a particularly useful form of casting when there is little to no room behind the fisherman. Developed out of the cramped conditions of the technique’s titular river, spey lines feature head lengths specifically sized for these restrictive conditions.
Available from Snowbee, this choice of spey line can be matched to small to medium sized rivers or windy conditions, whilst keeping weight balance and body position fully in mind. Each provide optimum performance, and are a solid choice when fly fishing requires a bit of technical pre-preparation.
